A Better Looking Brynjolf

And I present to you – Brynjolf 2.0 – as I imagine him. To me, he’s the original only higher resolution. Please note, I do not have a high end computer, so I will never be able to achieve a resolution that is truly life-like. I did what I could considering the limitations of my system. However, even with a lower end computer, it is possible to make Skyrim, and those who live there, look a lot better than what ships with the base game. What I changed:

  1. Mod to change his eyebrows and make them higher resolution – they are a bit thicker, a little longer, and a bit more gentle of an arch.
  2. Mod that makes beards higher resolution, although somewhere in my tweaking, his goatee went from a 5 day to a 3 day version.
  3. Mod to make the skin texture of the face clearer.
  4. Mod to make the scar high resolution (holy crap, Batman – you can actually tell he has a scar now.) Sexy!
  5. Mod to make the vanilla hairstyle higher resolution.
  6. Made his lips just a touch darker.

That’s it. No other changes to his face. He’s not a “pretty boy.” I’m Aragorn, not Legolas, when it comes to the look I like for my men. I did give him a much more defined body with more chest hair as well using a combination of mods, with Better Males doing the heavy lifting.

For comparison, here’s a screenshot of what he looked like before, in the base game.

  • I absolutely LOVE your Brynjolf. I made mine a little cleaner like you did except I made his hair redder and long enough that it had to be in a tie. But, as far as the mods I’ve come across, your’s is tops. He doesn’t look super young, creepy, or have a completely different look that isn’t BRYNJOLF. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Love your Bryn and I wish happy playing for you both. 😉
