Touch-move Rule

Chess Series: Interlude after Knight/Book 1.5

Want to find out how Anders and Retta feel after they’ve had a few hours to think about the decision at the ruins? What Retta and Anders were talking about when Beth saw them from the garden?

In Knight, Retta walked in on Lucian having sex with Beth. Too ticked to think straight, she heads out of the palace and ends up at the ruins. Where she and Anders make the decision to run away to the Sacred Mountains.

The next morning, at the start of Queen, they’ll all leave for the mountains. But what about that night? What do they say before going to bed?

In Antipositional Play, Beth heads to the garden the night she and Lucian are caught in his study. As she is walking back to the palace, she looks up and sees the queen and Anders in the window. She can tell it’s an intimate moment between them. What did Beth see them discussing?

Touch-move Rule is this scene between Retta and Anders. It is 1,500 words.
